The Jewish Ghetto in Kraków was created by Nazi-Germans in march 1941. It was made for terror and persecution of Jews. In 1943 the getto was liquidated, and most of its inhabitants was sent to Nazi death camps. Today the main tourist attraction in Podgórze District is the museum in Oskar Schindlers Factory recounting the tragic history of Krakow Jews.
